           Applying the signature task of Appreciation of beauty and Excellence to studying for my Biology test went pretty good. At first I have to admit that I was struggling because all I cared about was learning the information to be prepared for the test and then actually passing my Bio test, but in the end as I kept reading over my notes and the text, I got to appreciate nature and how life started with the small structures of life and then developed to a bigger component like animals and their environments. I thought it was interesting because I never really thought about life in that specific way and now that I have I really do appreciate Biology and getting to know more about it. I felt more engaged and interested in the topic I was on and it helped me learn more. I hope that next time I can apply this same characteristic to something else I am struggling with because I want to learn how to appreciate more the things that I have like the education ...

      A task I need to fulfill this week is to study for my Biology quiz that will be on Monday. It will be an unpleasant task because the chapters we have been learning about have a lot of criteria to memorize. I will use my character strength of Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence and adapting it to studying for my test by thinking about how studying and appreciating beauty, excellence, and skills that take place in Biology will help me later on for my future career. By passing my Biology class and appreciating it, will help me get a step closer to my career of becoming an occupational or physical therapist. Biology has a lot of beauty features in it like nature and what things are made up of. By applying Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence to my task of studying for my Bio test,  it will help me better understand how Bio is important to know for life.
