Adriana Barajas Signature Strength Applied

           Applying the signature task of Appreciation of beauty and Excellence to studying for my Biology test went pretty good. At first I have to admit that I was struggling because all I cared about was learning the information to be prepared for the test and then actually passing my Bio test, but in the end as I kept reading over my notes and the text, I got to appreciate nature and how life started with the small structures of life and then developed to a bigger component like animals and their environments. I thought it was interesting because I never really thought about life in that specific way and now that I have I really do appreciate Biology and getting to know more about it. I felt more engaged and interested in the topic I was on and it helped me learn more. I hope that next time I can apply this same characteristic to something else I am struggling with because I want to learn how to appreciate more the things that I have like the education I am getting at this school. Other people do not have the same opportunities as us and so we should learn how to care about the things we have and how important they are for us and our lives.
