Call to Action Day Reflection, Adriana Barajas

                             My previous preconceptions of developmentally challenged people was that I never knew that they had so much to say and so many things they have been wanting to express with other people, it was as if they had been wanting to express how they felt for a long time and I was happy and glad because they got to express themselves with us. What I know about them is that they love their lives no matter how different they are from other people. I wish I had their view of how much they love their life because no matter what happened around them, they were happy. They did not worry about anything but being themselves and being happy to those around them because it felt like they liked everyone no matter who they were. "Three Good Things List"

The best moment was that my mom picked me up and I went back home to see my family   I ate an amazing breakfast that my mom made for us that I really missed.  I hung out with my family at the San Francisco pier which made me happy. I saw movies with one of my best friends and her family. I got the chance to go work out. I passed my Math test. I finished all of my homework after my first class which made me happy.  My friend and I got to hang out at the mall in Hillsdale which was really fun. I went to a baby shower with my mom and I saw my family.  I got the chance to spend more time with my mom.  I went to the gym with my friends and it was helpful.  I ate an amazing lunch from the cafeteria.  I passed another Math test that made me really happy.  I got the chance to meet sister Murphy the author of a book.  I finally got the chance to meet my Bio Lab teacher.  My mom and I picked up my sister from work and we all ...
