Call to Action Day Reflection, Adriana Barajas

                 
           My previous preconceptions of developmentally challenged people was that I never knew that they had so much to say and so many things they have been wanting to express with other people, it was as if they had been wanting to express how they felt for a long time and I was happy and glad because they got to express themselves with us. What I know about them is that they love their lives no matter how different they are from other people. I wish I had their view of how much they love their life because no matter what happened around them, they were happy. They did not worry about anything but being themselves and being happy to those around them because it felt like they liked everyone no matter who they were. I respected them so much because they all had positive souls that gave out good vibes towards everyone. When I was around them I would feel happy because they were happy. It was a great experience for me and I would do it again.
